Hey everyone! I was sitting here thinking about what I would like to post for you for this week and doing some web surfing for some ideas when I came up with something all my own! If we were sitting in the classroom this week, you would walk in to sharpened pencils and a 6 x 9 paper ready to draw quietly as you turned on the creative part of your brain to begin Art class. How about if we have a six minute challenge for each day of this week? I'll throw an idea out and you will try to meet the challenge. You can draw on any type of paper, your sketchbook, an old envelope, a paper bag, the back of gift wrap, you name it. Even the newspaper will work for a drawing source if you use a marker or crayon to draw with. With that in mind, draw with whatever you might have, a pencil, a pen, a crayon or even a marker. If you love what you have done, shoot me an email with a picture of it and I will post it here for everyone to see. Start with your quick six minute draw and if you like where it is going, feel free to draw and develop the work further. You might even decide to add some value or some color as well as a background, some overlap, perspective, you be your own guide.
SO HERE WE GO..........
Monday's challenge - draw something you see in the bedroom when you first wake up in the morning.
Tuesday's challenge - draw some type of animal that you see during your day.
Wednesday's challenge - Draw something that grows
Thursday's challenge - Draw a building
Friday's challenge - Draw something that you see as small but make it really BIG
I'll be drawing as well. Let's have some fun with this.
